Advance Exchange
If you need to save money on your parts purchases, please take advantage of our
Advance Exchange program. Our program is as easy as:
- When you call to order a part, please ask if the part is available as an AE (Advance
Exchange ). If the product is available as an AE, your representative will quote
you AE price and outright purchase price. Should you choose the AE option, we will
supply you with your RMA#. We will also reference the RMA # on your packing slip.
- When you have the part ready for return, please pack the core safely and reference
the RMA # on the outside of the box.
- We will close the RMA once the product is received and inspected.
You will be invoiced for outright purchase if:
- Cores are not received with RMA #
- Cores are damaged or not in “as failed condition”
- Cores are received after 14 days
- Core is not the correct part
Freight Damage
This policy pertains to products shipped by MRP and damaged in transit. Please contact
your MRP Sales Rep to obtain an RMA.
- MRP is not responsible for damages incurred in transit; the shipping carrier is
responsible.
- Damage claims must be reported to MRP immediately upon receipt of the damaged product.
Product must remain in original packaging at the site until the carrier can inspect
the product. Failure to do so will void MRP`s recovery rights and may result in
charges to the customer.
- Customer may place a new order while the carrier is investigating the damage claim.
Warranties
All parts that ship from MRP carry a 90 day warranty. Refurbished equipment (printers,
terminals, tape drives, etc.) carry a 30 day warranty. New equipment is covered
by the manufacturers warranty.
Warranty Returns
What separates us from others in our business is when you have a problem with a
product you received, we have a helpful and knowledgeable staff that can help resolve
your problem as quickly as possible. Many times we can resolve a problem with a
simple call to one of our engineers while you are still on-site.
In order to make the Return process flow as smoothly as possible, please follow
the steps below:
- Please call 708-597-4222 if you suspect a problem with the product you received
from us. We require that this is done while you are on site so our factory trained
engineers can verify the fault. Once it is verified that the product is faulty,
you will be issued a RMA #. RMA#'s will not be issued if you do not have access
to the product.
- If the product is DOA, we will ship you a replacement product on our account by
the same method as your original order. If you require the product shipped by a
different method, it will be at your expense.
- We may deduct replacement shipping charges incurred by MRP from the credit should
the DOA part test good.
- Please write the RMA # on the package so we can identify the product being returned
in order to process your return.
- Please return the product to our Alsip Facility for processing
- Returns need to be received within 14 days from the date the RMA was issued or credit
will not be issued.
- Returns need to be packaged well enough to prevent damage to product.
- Good parts being returned because they are not needed or were ordered in error are
subject to a 25% restock fee or a $ 35 minimum charge.**
- RMA#'s will not be issued for good part returns after 14 days from the date of shipment.
** Supplies, thermal printheads and manuals are not eligible for return
Unused Part Return for Credit
This policy pertains to the return of good, unused parts to MRP. Before returning
parts, please contact your sales rep to obtain a RMA #. Consumables, special orders
and manuals are not eligible for return.
- Products returned for credit must be received within 30 days of original ship date.
- Customer is responsible for all freight charges.
- Products must be returned in the original sealed packaging.
- A 25 % restock fee will be assessed on all returns.
No credit will be issued if:
- Product is damaged in transit
- Part is received after 30 days from original ship date
- Part is received with an invalid RMA #
- Part has been tampered with
Parts for which no credit will be issued will be returned to the customer or disposed
of at MRP.
